When shown to groups of women, a video of a full 2 minutes of breast palpation often elicits comments such as, “Wow! I’ve never had an exam like that.”
2 minutes is not a long time, but it seems long when it is done because even 2 minutes is a much longer than most women have experienced.

Watch how the CBE examines all parts of the breast from just below the collar bone to below the bra line and from the middle of the chest to the side of the chest.
A small breast may take a little less than a minute, and a larger breast may require more time.
